Overall West view is a lovely comfortable place to stay, lots of local amenities and close enough to the beach and pier. My one gripe is the trainline running by the side of the property which can disrupt children when sleeping so bare this in mind. Overall lovely little place!

The lodge itself was ok, but we arrived during the heatwave and it was unbearably hot. The immediate surroundings were disappointing due to:Derelict looking out buildings nearby.Difficultly getting in and out of the car parking space. The train track is very close to the lodge.
