Set over a single-storey and sleeping up to six guests with a sofa bed, Tilly’s Cottage is a admirable setting for your next trip to Somerset, within easy reach of Weston-super-Mare. You are greeted to the property by a private driveway with safe parking for up to three cars, as well as an enclosed front garden with lawn for your furry friends to explore. Stepping into the cottage, there is a well-equipped kitchen, with a handy dishwasher, so guests can enjoy home cooked meals. Moving through the cottage, the living/dining room boasts views of the beach front, has a warming electric fire and a dining table where all guests can gather as they toast a wonderful holiday, before grabbing a spot on the sofa to enjoy an evening of television. The property has two sea-inspired bedrooms; a double with plenty of storage and a bunk which is great for the children. To finish the property there is a spacious shower room so guests can wash their sandy feet and freshen up after a long day at the beach. Not only is the property situated on the beachfront, but it is also just a short walk away from the shop for when you need any essentials. The village is also home to the New Castle wine bar and bistro; newly-refurbished ‘Rock Salt’ and ‘The Bay’ restaurants within the South Sands Hotel - both perfect for when you fancy a meal out. Sand Bay fish and chip shop is a stones’ throw away if you fancy a takeaway to enjoy on the dog-friendly beach. There are miles of beautiful coastline to explore locally, right on the doorstep and further afield. Sand Bay is a 1.5 mile stretch of soft sand, with sand dunes and rock pools to explore, and areas perfect for fossil hunting. Take a short drive or catch the open-top bus into the seaside resort of Weston-super-Mare, where you can explore the interesting museums; play a game of crazy golf or a more serious round on the shoreside golf course; indulge in various bars and eateries; relax on the beach with views of Split Battery Rock; take a thrill-seeking ride at Funland Theme Park; watch the boats from the marina or take a stroll up the Grand Pier which has a land train, indoor rides and arcade machines. Within a 30-minute drive are more stretches of coatstline to explore at Burnam-on-Sea, Brean, Clevedon, and Portishead. Also nearby there is a golf course and Puxton Park which offers soft play and slides in 40 acres of countryside, whilst a little further afar you can discover the scenic Mendip Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with its many caves and ancient sites. Could do with warmer quilts and a table lamp in living room as the light sometimes does not come on and a wate bin for living room everything else great def recommend

Best I've ever stayed in. Lovely location, completely accurate photos and description and holiday wasn't marred by awful weather as staying indoors was a treat_ warm, clean and cosy. Very helpful information re.everything. As there were only 2 of us, we mainly dined at local dog friendly hotel, especially as it was my son's birthday.
