Guests say

The Old Stable in Somerset offers a clean, comfortable stay with modern amenities and a well-equipped kitchen. Guests appreciate the property's peaceful village setting, proximity to local attractions, and the helpfulness of the host. While some minor issues are noted, such as the lack of upstairs toilet facilities and limited outdoor space, the overall experience is positive with many guests returning or recommending the cottage.

Reviews consistently mention the property being clean and tidy, with only a few minor comments about cobwebs. The high level of cleanliness contributes to the overall positive experience.

The property is praised for its good position in a quiet village, close to local attractions and amenities, although a car is necessary for shopping. The local pub is a highlight, but guests should book ahead due to its popularity.

Guests find the mattresses, pillows, and duvets comfortable, and the underfloor heating is appreciated. Some guests mention the lack of toilet facilities upstairs and the size of the double bedroom as minor discomforts.

The property is well-equipped with a modern bathroom, kitchen, and shared facilities like a games room. However, some guests noted issues with shower accessibility, missing advertised items like a table tennis table, and a basic BBQ setup.

While guests mention a welcome bottle of wine and the host's helpfulness, there is not enough consistent information about thoughtful gestures such as gifts to provide a score. It should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.
