Poppy Cottage is a cosy two bedroom cottage which caters for up to four people, with an open plan living area, a walk-in shower and a wood burner. There’s a ground floor bedroom with a super kingsize bed which can be single beds on request, with another kingsize bedroom upstairs with an en-suite shower room. Children are welcome at Poppy Cottage and a travel cot and highchair can be provided on request.
Within easy reach of Cheddar Gorge and Caves, Wookey Hole, Wells with its magnificent cathedral, the renowned Clarks Village shopping outlet at Street and National Trust properties at Clevedon Court, Tyntesfield and Montacute House. Splendid walks and cycle trails, and nearby Chew Valley Lakes is a modern reservoir and a mecca for birdwatchers and fishermen. Further afield are Exmoor National Park, the re-developed docklands and shopping of Bristol, and the memorable regency architecture of Bath. Beach 5 miles. Shop 3 miles, pub 1½ miles, restaurant 5½ miles.

A beautiful quaint cottage, very clean, well equipped with plenty of towels. Loved the hot tub & sitting in the very pretty private courtyard. Was great value for money.

We have just had a fabulous week at poppy cottage. It was lovely and clean and had everything we needed. Both shower rooms were clean and looked as if they had been renovated,there were plenty of towels for shower rooms and the hot tub. Bed was comfortable and we had plenty of pillows. In the garden was a person hot and garden table and chairs with lovely thick cushions. It was nice to sit and have a coffee or wine .there was a nice welcome pack with cider and cheese. Plenty of parking right next to the cottage. And the view of the paddocks and horses was lovely. We would definitely go again. On the flip side it could do with a bigger teapot and some oven gloves but that's just me we managed very well

A lovely 4 night break at Poppy Cottage with my 21 year old granddaughter. Location was fantastic, lovely outdoor space to enjoy the quiet countryside, whilst also enjoying a glass of bubbly in the hot tub! Everything we needed plus a lovely little touch was a welcome basket of a few goodies when we arrived. The kitchen was well equipped, beds were comfy and bathroom clean and a lovely shower too! Would certainly go back again and recommend to family and friends.
