Prince Consort Gardens is just across the road, whilst 5 minutes’ walk from the apartment are a well-stocked corner shop, a lively pub with lovely terrace and restaurant, two further restaurants and a café at nearby Anchor head. Accessible along the promenade is the town centre, offering an excellent range of restaurants, cafés, pubs, shops, activities and nightlife, the majority of which are open all year round.

Weston-Super-Mare is a Victorian seaside town with classical architecture and caters for a variety of different tastes and interests. To name a few, there are glorious sands, several theatres, two cinemas, the Grand Pier with its year-round indoor fairground and amusements, a big wheel (Easter to September), Grove, Ashcombe and Clarence Parks, golf courses, the world’s largest dedicated helicopter museum, a Wednesday market in the main square (spring & summer) plus lots of events all year round.

The apartment is near some lovely walks, including along the coastal path and the ‘Pier to Pier Way’. Weston also has extensive rail and bus transport links to many towns and cities in the area to explore places like Bath, Bristol, Cheddar, Brean Down and Burnham-on-Sea. Sandy beaches are located on either side of the property, at Weston Bay, Sand Bay, and at the unusual Marine Lake and beach by Knightstone Island, ten minutes’ walk away.

What a wonderfully well equipped apartment with the most stunning views, particularly at sunset. In a great location on the edge of Weston Super Mare which benefits from being a little quieter but still within walking distance of the centre and all the amenities. Easy access to lots of local attractions, such as Wookey Hole/Cheddar Gorge, and excellent train links to Bristol and Bath. The owners live below the property and are welcoming, friendly and available without being intrusive. Their love for the area is apparent and the apartment is packed full of information, particularly about the restoration of the pier across from the apartment. We found the tips on local restaurants very helpful; the nearest bar/restaurant, Captain's Cabin, became a firm favourite. The driveway is a little tight, but we managed in a compact SUV and it certainly wouldn't deter us from visiting again.
