Laurel House has everything you could possibly need, from a baby bath and potty, to sewing kits and sweet treats. We stayed as a family of 4 for 4 nights. We were welcomed by Charlotte who told us everything we needed to know, she showed us round and pointed out a few things like the step down into the bathroom and the additional outdoor toilet. Its a lovely place, a real home from home and i was blown away by everything provided. It was clean and tidy, great internet, smart TV's, spacious master bedroom and nice big soft towels. The outdoor space was peaceful and calm with lots of room to run around or sit and relax. Charlotte had thought of everything, including menus for various takeaway options, pub/restaurant menus and packs of information about the local area .The only downside for us, and this is only applicable to tall people, some of the doorframe are low and resulted in bang heads. Other than that, I can't recommend this place highly enough. If you're looking for calm, quiet, and relaxing in a traditional farmhouse with a modern twist, look no further

Excellent. The cottage was extremely well equipped with everything we needed. We stayed as a family of five (children aged 10, 14, 16) and we all enjoyed the location, the facilities and the location. There were sleeping arrangements for six people (an extra single bed in one of the double bedrooms) and the rooms are all of very good size. It's within very close range of the M5, which opens up opportunities north (Bristol, Bath) and south (Bridgewater). Weston Super Mare is also close by, without being too close - the cottage was pleasantly quiet throughout the day and night. The cottage is an older building, with low doorways, so if you're over 6'2" tall, remember to stoop under the doorways. Otherwise, it's a fantastic cottage for a young or more mature family, with plenty of facilities (two TV rooms, WiFi, well equipped kitchen, a stock of indoor and outdoor games and a very good sized garden).
