You may also play golf nearby at Burnham and Berrow Championship Course. With Sand Point and Middle Hope owned by the National Trust and open to visitors for free just 2 miles away, horseback riders may enjoy an unspoilt beach all year round in Sand Bay. Wells, England's smallest city, and Glastonbury Tor, where King Arthur is said to have risen from the depths, are just a short drive away from Cheddar Caves and Gorge.

    The lack of cooking facilities made it hard. There was no tray to bake Chicken Kiev in the oven, the tray that is there doesnt fit in the oven. Saucepans with no fitting lids, shortage of cutlery & crockery. Might be fine for people not wanting to cook. The carpets in all stairs & passages looked dark & dated, net curtains a skimpy strip of fabric. It was a disappointment to be honest. Bed & couch comfortable though the mattress felt a bit like it needed a topper as you could feel the springs.
