Award-winning beaches, donkey rides, water sports, restaurants, and shops are all available in Weston-super-typical Mare's seaside town. The Playhouse, Winter Gardens and the Grand Pier offer year-round plays, musicals, and fairs. The championship golf course of Burnham and Berrow is also nearby. Sand Bay, a National Trust-owned beach, is about 2 miles away, and Sand Point and Middle Hope, which are open to the public, are also nearby. It's only a short journey from the Cheddar Caves and Gorge to the mediaeval city of Wells and Glastonbury Tor, where King Arthur is said to have been buried.

Tiny flat with fabulous windows and mini-balconies; pleasant outlook and very good position near the sea and town. However, very poorly furnished - a mixture of cheap IKEA style and junk shop! Bed comfortable, carpets and shower room ok, miserable kitchen area with very basic, cheap and tatty equipment way past its best. Basically, the kitchen is falling apart and needs replacing, as does the dining table. Very disappointed with the state of the decor. It wouldn't take much to make it spectacular! Having said that, we had a lovely break in Weston-super-mare.

We stayed less than one hour, it was so sparse and un- inviting we couldnât stay any longer. The drawer in the small sink unit nearly fell on the floor when we opened it and the cutlery items in the drawer were a joke , 2 knives, 2 forks, 2 teaspoons and dessert spoons and that was it. The pottery was just as bad, 2 cups side plates and dinner plates and that was all. The amount we paid was astronomical compared to the cottage we stayed in the week before in Ashton Keynes. We deserve a refund.
