A short walk down the drive is a nature reserve set in an aonb and a renowned area for potholing and caving. Within a short drive are the cities of Wells 6 miles, Bath 18 miles and Bristol 16 miles. Your visit to Wells England's smallest city must include a trip to the city's beautiful cathedral with gardens and moat and the Bishop's Palace garden next door. Markets are held in Wells on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings and the city also boasts a range of shops, pubs, cafes and supermarkets. Within a short drive is Cheddar famous for its Gorge, quaint shops and cafes. National Trust properties and Longleat Safari Park are a short drive from the property.
