Waters Edge lies adjacent to wonderful coastal walks and has direct stunning sea views spanning across towards Lulworth Cove and Portland. In a quiet location on the edge of Portland Harbour at Ferrybridge, the southerly tip of Weymouth just before the causeway leading across to Portland, it offers the best of both worlds because of this. Portland offers a rugged charm with cliff top walks, wildlife and the wonderful Chesil beach to comb and look for a few lost treasures. In the morning after having breakfast on your own balcony overlooking the sea you can take an invigorating walk along the beach or amble along the `Rodwell Trail', an old railway line which takes you to the town centre. The enthusiastic fisherman can fish from the beach at night and exchange tales with the locals who can tell you when the fish are ready to bite. Weymouth town centre with its golden sands and a host of restaurants is a keen walk from Waters Edge or around six minutes journey by car.
