Rainbow's End is fantastically positioned offering stunning uninterrupted views over Portland Harbour.
A three bedroom house with a large tiered garden with patio area, lawn with views over the sea to Portland. Meaning you will spend most of your holiday sitting outside enjoy the ever changing colours and view of the sea and sky. On the ground floor you will find a large sitting room with dining area with excellent uninterrupted sea views of Portland. The property also boasts three bedrooms on the first floor, the rear bedrooms with sea views.
It is close to a wide range of amenities including Sandsfoot Beach (next to the sailing club), Tudor castle and many imposing coastal walks in the direction of the Nothe Fort and The Castle Cove Sailing Club. The Rodwell Trail, formerly a railway line, is situated moments away and provides a picturesque walking or cycling route into the town centre in one direction and to Portland in the other.
A 30 minute stroll along the flat Rodwell Trail and you are in the centre of Weymouth. Explore around the harbourside and the shopping avenues of Weymouth. Maybe stopping for a drink in one of the many bars or coffee shops.
This three bedroom property on the Rodwell Trail is the perfect place to spend quality time breathing in the fresh sea air.
Cove Castle is the locals favourite beach area, sitting along side the Rodwell trail area, Cove Castle Beach is usually uncrowded, and offers safe bathing from it’s gently sloping shoreline. CoveCastle and Sandsfoot beach sit side by side, both with soft golden sand and the vibe of the best kept secret. Sandsfoot castle is just two minutes’ walk from the beach where you will find castle ruins, pretty award-winning gardens and a small café, offering snacks, drinks and ice-creams. Accessed off Old Castle Road in Weymouth, this area is a real treat for those who want to be away from the buzz and bright lights of the traditional Weymouth Seafront, and yet close enough to venture there when they choose. When you are on the beach you could be forgiven for thinking you are miles from town, and yet you are only a 15-20 minute walk from the old Harbour and access to Weymouth town centre. If you want to know where the locals would recommend you spend your beach days, then Cove Castle and Sandsfoot beaches are it.

It is a lovely house, warm and welcoming and always very clean. The view from the lounge is stunning which is nice when the weather is too nasty to venture out. We had snow when we were there so that was a first ! Highly recommend this place. Our little Honda car fits on the small drive but we did notice this time that there was a lot more cars parking on the road outside every day and night. Space was at a premium. More than at other times we have been there considering it was mid November. Unusual for a week in mid November so not sure what the summer would be like as we tend to go out of season.

It is a comfortable place to stay and it has everything you would need. The views over Portland Harbour are great as there is always something to watch and there is plenty of places to visit.
