Seafarer is in a quiet location on the edge of Portland Harbour at Ferrybridge, the southerly tip of Weymouth just before the causeway leading across to Portland and offers the best of both worlds because of this. This three storey town house benefits from wonderful views from the lounge where you may relax and enjoy the wonderful sea views which encompass Portland Harbour. Portland offers a rugged charm with cliff top walks, wildlife and the wonderful Chesil beach to comb and look for a few lost treasures. Weymouth town centre with a host of shops, restaurants, attractions and the main beach with its golden sands is a pleasant 30 minutes' walk away along the 'Rodwell Trail', an old converted railway line or around an eight minutes' drive/bus journey away. Smallmouth Bay with its small sandy beach is only a minute or two away; however a short walk along the coast will take you to hidden away Sandsfoot beach which is an ideal alternative to the more commercialised town centre beach. The surrounding waters, which welcome the very best of the world's waters sports enthusiasts, were where the sailing Olympic events were held in 2012. Seafarer makes for a comfortable family holiday home with the benefit of parking and a landscaped patio garden in an ideal coastal location.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. We booked last minute and have never been to the area. The location of the house was perfect as we have two small children. The area was quiet and allowed us to walk or visit the water without having to mess with the crowds. We are already looking forward to another visit! Stayed July 2017
