This impressive family house stands proudly in prime position beside the Old Harbour in Weymouth.  The property offers guests a luxurious stay in a contemporary atmosphere with interior designed sea and boat themed decor. Sumptuous touches include boutique style ensuite shower rooms, several LED screens with satellite TV and internet, as well as a cutting edge kitchen. The house is very well equipped providing a real 'home from home'. There are wonderful panoramic views of Weymouth Harbour, itself a popular tourist attraction, from the bay windows on each of the four floors of the property.  As well as being excellent for spotting visiting yachts from all over the world, the harbour still has fishing boats going about their daily work.  There is always something of interest going on at the harbour   watching the town bridge open and close to let the yachts into the inner marina, for example, is fascinating for young and old alike.  The property lies within a two minute walk to Newton's Cove and the sweeping coastline that leads to the very attractive Nothe Gardens and the old Fort. This holiday home is perfect for a large family or a large group of friends, as it has 4 spacious bedrooms, all with an ensuite or their own bathroom, and two lounge rooms as well as the bonus of a large rear patio.  Everything you could need is right on your doorstep with no need to use a car.

Brewers Quay with its antiques emporium, cafe and Italian restaurant, plus the variety of pubs and restaurants is a minute's walk away.  Another two minute stroll in the other direction and over the bridge brings you to the town which, as well as two 'high street' shopping streets, has a number of narrow streets with interesting independently owned shops.  The dining choices are wide and range from harbourside fine dining restaurants to fish and chips.  Weymouth has a long, sandy award winning beach with traditional seaside entertainment such as Punch & Judy, donkey rides and trampolines.  If you prefer wetter active pursuits the surrounding waters are a haven for water sports enthusiasts with sailing, wind surfing and scuba diving being very popular.  Dorset has a number of acclaimed attractions such as Monkey World, Sealife Centre, The Swannery and Tank Museum.  For a real flavour of rural Dorset visit one the picture postcard villages where you will be able to enjoy a traditional Dorset Cream Tea or locally made ice creams.  With the sunniest days in the U.K. often recorded in Weymouth, Harbourside House is sure to give you the warmest welcome.

Harbourside House Accommodation:  Ground floor: Second lounge / dining room.  1st Floor:  Lounge with bay window and harbour views.  Kitchen / diner with patio doors to patio area with tables and chairs, Cloakroom with hand basin and toilet.  2nd Floor:  Bedroom 1, kingsize double bed, TV, armchairs, bay window with harbour views, ensuite shower room with hand basin and toilet.  Bedroom 2, twin single beds or ziplink Superking with own bathroom containing shower bath, hand basin and toilet.  3rd Floor:  Bedroom 3, kingsize double bed with harbour views, en suite shower, hand basin and toilet, TV and armchairs.   Bedroom 4, twin single beds and 2 pull out beds. Shower room, handbasin and toilet.

The owners of Harbourside House require a £200 refundable security deposit payable on booking. Subject to a satisfactory check out after your departure this will be refunded within 10 days. Please note that if you are booking online within eight weeks of your holiday date the refundable security deposit will need to be taken in a separate transaction from your online booking and we shall ring / email you regarding this.

 

There is No Smoking at this property, including the rear patio. Thank you for your cooperation in this regard.

Harbourside House is marketed as a property for 8 guests.  However, if you party numbers up to 10, please ring 01305 789000 to discuss whether we could accommodate your party for an additional charge of £50.
