Harbour Hideaway is an attractive and well-presented basement apartment in a fantastic harbourside location. Luxury yachts, modest cruisers and fishing boats all bob up and down in the harbour outside the property. You can hear the gentle clink of the boats as they take a snooze before their next adventure out to sea. From benches along the harbour, sit in the evening and view the colourful lights from the harbourside restaurants and pubs throwing fleeting colours on the black inky water. The various restaurants and pubs dotted along the harbourside offer an extensive choice of venues for an evening out, cuisines from around the world are on offer as well as traditional fish and chips for those who like the idea of eating al fresco by the harbourside. Weymouth's attractive Georgian sea front is around a five minute stroll away and presents a picture of years gone by. The golden sands and shallow waters of the beach along with the Punch & Judy shows, donkey rides and trampolines capture the best in time-honoured seaside holidays. Harbour Hideaway is so well placed that there is no need for a car to access the beach or town. However, if you wish to venture out, exploring Dorset's World Heritage Coastline and the picturesque villages dotted along the way is an excellent way of seeing another side to this beautiful county.
Accommodation: Option of paved pathway or steps down to entrance. Lounge/Diner. Kitchen. Bedroom with twin single beds. Bathroom, bath with shower over, hand basin and toilet.

Two large dogs or four small dogs are welcome (please specify breed when booking). Hall area has 2 plastic dog beds.

This was a very good property, clean well kept. Near all local amenities with excellent information inside on how to get to things, there was also a welcome pack which I thought was a very good gesture from the owners. I have already booked for a return visit. Stayed December 2017.
