Big issues: House was falling apart. Stairs were unsafe. Floors were slippy. Doors didn't close, walls were wet and flaky. Wasn't safe for elderly people so unfortunately they couldn't come on holiday wasting lots of people. No where to park!Small issues: no washing basket for the washing machine.

The comfort and equipment would have scored higher if some basic items were available e.g. frying pan, fly spray and extra kitchen roll and toilet paper. The house was comfortable very spacious and we enjoyed its quirkiness.

The house was lovely. There was a welcome gift on arrival and everything we needed. It really felt like a home from home. If you take your dog, the notes in the file say they aren’t allowed upstairs or on the furniture. They are also not allowed to toilet in the garden area which is just patio. There is a small grassy area across the road, which we took our dogs to.The parking was ok but when I arrived on Saturday there was nowhere nearby to park and I had to park in a car park 5 mins walk away. I was concerned about having to leave my car out of sight overnight but it was fine. Then during the week there were places to park outside the house and so it was fine. The house is right next to a busy road and so if you aren’t used to traffic noise you will be aware of it into the night and early in the morning. It is also a stones throw from Chesil Beach which is beautiful. Dogs are allowed on the beach but the huge stones were too much for my dog! There is a nice pub on the front where we had dinner one night, but you need to book in advance. The Indian restaurant right by the house is excellent! We didn’t try any of the other eateries in the area. Buses are every 15 minutes to go to Weymouth. We did drive there one day though, and although it was July, we had no problem parking.
