Situated in Crabbers' Wharf, Perched on the quayside at the edge of Portland Harbour, this imaginative property is brand new and has a contemporary and stylish open plan living area perfectly appointed so you may relax and enjoy your Dorset holiday surrounded by views of this stunning stretch of Dorset Coastline. On the doorstep of Commodore's Penthouse, you will find activities such as climbing, sailing, wind surfing, para sailing, diving, fishing and bird watching. The newly opened D-Day museum is located a few moments away where you can enjoy concessionary entry rates during your stay. The Weymouth to Portland Ferry (My Lady) stops off at Crabbers' Wharf three times per day, 11am, 1pm and 3pm. This beautiful and enjoyable way to travel to Weymouth is probably quicker than car or public transport and ideal as it conveniently stops right outside Crabbers' Wharf and docks in the centre of Weymouth old Harbour. This leaves you ideally located to enjoy Weymouth's famous sandy beach and the charm of the Georgian seafront as well as other family attractions including the Sealife Centre and tower, parks and cinema. If you don't have your sea legs, the main seaside town of Weymouth is just minutes away by car or there is a frequent local bus service. Returning back to Commodore's Penthouse why not dine alfresco on your private balcony while watching the sun sets over the Dorset coastline.

Spiral staircase leading up to bedroom 1, kingsize double with ensuite bathroom with bath, hand basin and toilet. Lounge / kitchen / diner with patio doors leading out to decked patio area.
Additional Services: WiFi. Electric central heating. Fridge with ice box. Freezer. Flat screen TV. Communal laundry facilities. Bed linen and towels inclusive, please state requirements when booking. Cot and high chair available. However, as these are not held at each property please detail on your booking notes if you require these. Off road tandem parking for two vehicles.

The Commodore's Penthouse is awesome. We booked it as a surprise 70th birthday present for my Mother-in-Law, her partner, myself, wife and our 3 year old son and it did not disappoint. We all (my son in particular) loved the panoramic vista across Portland bay looking at all of the fishing boats, sail boats, vessels etc. It is a great place to be based to explore Portland and Weymouth or just watch the world go by with a beer/glass of wine. Very peaceful and highly recommended, we'll be going back. Stayed September 2017
