Osprey House Portland is located on the edge of the Isle of Portland on the World Heritage Coast in Dorset. Situated on The Officer's Field, a stunning residential development, it originally housed an international team during the 2012 Olympic sailing events.  With a large open plan layout downstairs the house is perfect for guests to enjoy cooking, eating and relaxing together.  In the summer open the doors and enjoy the enclosed patio and lawned garden, whilst in the winter you may prefer to chat in the a spacious and light lounge on the first floor which has large windows overlooking the Chesil bank in the distance.  The master bedroom on the second floor has a touch of luxury with a patio terrace in addition to an ensuite shower room.  Just minutes away, the secluded and clear waters of Chesil Cove are ideal for snorkelling, scuba diving, rock pools, fishing or sunbathing. Other popular local pursuits on and around Portland include walking (the flora and fauna are a nature lover's delight) sailing, scuba diving, fishing climbing, windsurfing and bird watching (Portland is popular for observing rare migrating birds).  The main seaside town of Weymouth is just minutes away by car or there is a frequent local bus service. Here you will find Weymouth's famous sandy beach and the charm of the Georgian seafront amongst other family attractions including the Sealife Centre and tower, parks and cinema.  Osprey House Portland is an ideal choice for guests who are seeking a spacious and luxurious holiday home in close proximity to beaches and amenities.
