Conveniently located within Wakeling Island this bright and spacious four bed cottage is the ideal property for you and your family to enjoy the Silverlake nature reserve and spa facilities. This property is made up of 2 double ensuite bedrooms and 2 bunk bedrooms sleeping 8 in total.

Wakeling Island is a brand new addition to Silverlake and Habitat Escapes! As such, there are still properties and areas of the island that are undergoing final elements of construction, so whilst this property is fully completed, it is possible that you may see construction, machinery and workers on or around the island between 0800 and 1600, Monday to Friday.

We do not envisage that this will be too disruptive to your stay at Silverlake, but please do abide by any signage relating to construction areas. Habitat Escapes and the Silverlake team will be doing all we can to ensure any disturbances are kept to a minimum. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with a member of the Habitat Escapes Team.

Warmwell derives it’s name from a well of tepid water, and has a varied village history including, having an RAF airfield used by the RAF in the second world War. If you want to continue on a theme of military history then why not explore the Tank Museum at Bovington just 8 miles away. Monkey World rescue is also an interesting day out and just around the corner from the Tank Museum. Should you be craving the sight and sounds of the sea then you are also ideally placed, with Lulworth Cove and Durdle just 8 miles away to the East and Weymouth and it’s golden sands and shallow water just 8 miles to the west. You will find many local café’s and restaurants in both these locations where you can sample local fish and award-winning produce. Be sure to enjoy an ice cream on the seafront.
