Stockbridge Farm Cottage is a delightful stone cottage with open fire, and perfect for up to four guests. Surrounded by beautiful countryside, and sitting in the grounds of Stockbridge Farm, the cottage is the ideal rural retreat.

A charming stone cottage with beams and original character features, Stockbridge Farm Cottage includes a triple aspect sitting room with open fire and television, a dual aspect dining room and a small kitchen with a barn style door to the garden. There is also a ground floor cloakroom. On the first floor are two comfortable bedrooms looking out over the pretty countryside; the first is a spacious king-size double, and the second has twin single beds. In addition is a well-appointed family bathroom with shower, and the open landing study area offers the perfect spot for reading or tackling a puzzle or two.

There is a large lawned garden to the rear of the cottage with a table and chairs affording wonderful views across the surrounding landscape, and a firepit for creating evening warmth when star gazing in the garden.

Located in the grounds of the marvellous wedding venue Stockbridge Farm Barn, this delightful cottage offers a relaxing retreat in the glorious Dorset countryside. Situated just four miles south of the historic and popular town of Sherborne, and within easy reach of the county town of Dorchester, Thomas Hardy's Casterbridge in his novels. The cottage is an ideal base from which to explore the beautiful county of Dorset with its country lanes, quaint villages, market towns and the outstanding Jurassic coastline.

If additional accommodation is required, nearby are two quaint shepherd’s huts, Blossom and her sister Apple, sitting side-by-side just a minute away at Stockbridge Farm. The nearby Milking Parlour for two can also be booked for additional accommodation, subject to availability.

A travel cot, highchair and stairgate are not provided. Please bring your own travel cot and linen. A stairgate can unfortunately not be fitted.

Open fire in the sitting room with initial logs provided - more can be purchased when at the cottage.

If additional accommodation is required, The Milking Parlour for two, and also two quaint shepherd’s huts of Blossom and her sister Apple sitting side-by-side, are all just a minute away at Stockbridge Farm.
