Sitting amid designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just 30 miles from the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site, escape with family and friends for a holiday to remember. Sleeping eight over four bedrooms, spend evenings splashing in the indoor pool (shared with other properties on site), getting competitive with a football, or cosying up by the wood burner and dishing out strokes to your dog.

One of four cottages sitting around a courtyard, enjoy some peace and quiet on this friendly farm. Pull up in one of the ample off-road parking spaces and head inside to settle in. Fabulously open plan, this home has a large sociable space for enjoying communal dinners, games nights and times in front of the TV together. The colourful kitchen area is a lovely place to experiment with flavours and the breakfast bar means you can keep the designated chef company with a glass of something cold. After a few lengths of the shared indoor heated pool, tuck in at the table or take a plate outside and dine alfresco with a sundowner tipple. Let little ones burn off steam in the shared play area before heading inside to snuggle up by the wood burner then climbing to the first floor for a peaceful night’s sleep. The master double is treated to a Juliette balcony - perfect for sunny mornings, and a handy en-suite. Great for younger guests, the bunk beds offer the ideal sleepover spot whilst the remaining twin and double rooms are tranquil places to rest your head.

Head to the coast for a family-friendly day filled with fish and chips, sea swims and sandcastle building, and make the 30-mile trip south to Weymouth. Here, a wealth of attractions, year-round dog-friendly spots and golden sands are the perfect ingredients for a wonderful day out. For an afternoon of retail therapy, a movie night at the cinema or a day out wandering the pretty streets dotted with shops, museums and eateries, travel 16 miles to the thriving town of Dorchester.
