Along with a post office, The Chetnole Inn, a restaurant and pub, and a train station that offers quick access within the county, the community is situated near Wiggle River. With Chetnole as your home base, you can drive to a variety of attractions. Heading north towards Yeovil will take you to the Yeovil Country Park, Yeovil Railway Centre, and the historical landmark The Fish Tower. Heading south will take you to the coast and a number of attractions, including the Abbotsbury Subtropical Gardens, Chesil Beach, and the seaside amusements in Weymouth.
