Entering through the cottage door takes you to the generous kitchen, with lots of wonderful work space preparing lovely family meals, the sitting dining room is light and airy, comfortable and evolves into a snug evening oasis when the electric flame effect fire is turned on. On the 1st floor you will find two relaxing cottage bedrooms perfect for unwinding in after. After a busy day’s adventure and activities, return to Honeysuckle and unwind with a nice drink in the generous cottage garden with views over the fields. Just a short drive away is Craig's dairy which offers essentials of milk and bread, for other local amenities, the County town of Dorchester is just a short 6-mile drive away where you can find all your high street favourites. The seaside town of Weymouth is a 15-minute drive to the west is, with it's award winning golden sandy beach, military history and traditional seaside vibe. Lulworth Cove and Durdle door, both UNESCO world heritage sites and only a 20-minute drive. With their spectacular coastal views and paths they are both worth a visit. Spend a day at Monkey world where you can learn all about their rescued monkeys and the work they do all over the world. Honeysuckle Cottage is the perfect location for you to discover much of the South Dorset coastal area.

Osmington village, is situated on the Jurassic coastline of Dorset, just 6 miles from Weymouth wher you will find an glorious beach and historic harbour and just 11 miles from Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door. Home to the famous Chalk hillside carving of George III on horseback, cut into the hillside to commemorate the Royal visits to Weymouth, this landmark can be seen from miles away. It is also the place that John Constable spent his honeymoon in 1816 and where he completed his painting of Weymouth Bay that now hangs in the National Gallery. The South West Coastal path runs through Osmington Mills, a tiny hamlet on the edge of Osmington. Here many walkers start their coast path walks at the Smugglers inn, where reputedly there are historic connections to smuggling. Be sure to visit to find out all the stories. A short drive will see you reach a local convenience store at Preston. Weymouth offers a larger variety of shopping, eating and entertainment choices.
