For a car journey which will be rewarded with some fantastic views, head out to visit places such as Seaton with its tram ride to picturesque Colyton, the attractive Beer with its magnificent caves and the pretty town of Axminster home to the famous River Cottage. Beaches are obviously on your bucket list when on a visit to Dorset and ones of particular interest include West Bay, Charmouth, Monmouth and Chesil. Immaculate interior and stunning sea views only minutes from the town and its excellent restaurants.

Comfortable accommodation in a great location and a parking space as well. Unfortunately the cleanliness and condition of the settee and chair left a lot to be desired. Threadbare arm protector and stained seats were not expected. The sofa and chair are apparently due to be replaced at the end of the season, why wait till then??? If there's a problem now, fix it now. After a few calls and emails we negotiated a discount off the weeks rental as a goodwill gesture, but this really shouldn't have been necessary as the property should be maintained to a high standard.

The interior is so in keeping with the setting and the views are amazing. Although the boat workshop is opposite, the beach and the Cobb can be seen on both sides and from the beach hut. The cooking facilities were good and we had every thing we needed. Having parking in Lyme was a real advantage. We have had a brilliant week and would recommend this accommodation to a couple or small family. Would definitely come again.
