About this property

Enjoying a wonderful setting close to the charming seaside town of Lyme Regis in the heart of Dorset, is this memorable holiday chalet, St Anton. The perfect location for a family holiday, St Anton boasts simply spectacular sea views and thanks to its location within walking distance of the beach, offers a truly stunning setting. Inside, it might be small but St Anton still delivers big with a bright and airy open-plan living area creating a real feeling of light and space. The sitting area overlooks the outside decking area and offers breath-taking views of the sea so whether the sun is shining or not you have the ideal spot for chilling out and soaking up those gorgeous views. The kitchen has everything the designated chef needs to create hearty fayre for your holiday party and you can either pull up a chair at the elegant dining table or if the weather allows, then you can eat alfresco and absorb the last of the day’s sun and more of those mesmerising views. You can imagine relaxing on the outside decking area with a glass of your favourite tipple, watching the sun go down and really getting into the seaside holiday vibe. When bedtime calls, take your pick from the double or twin bedrooms; both are equally well-presented and provide a relaxing sanctuary to wake up to in the morning. St Anton enjoys a superb location within walking distance of thriving Lyme Regis which has a fantastic beach, harbour and causeway as well as a great selection of shops, cafes, boutiques and restaurants and a museum and aquarium. Nearby are the towns of Uplyme, Branscombe, Dalwood and Bridport, which are all worth a visit as are beaches at Seatown, Charmouth and West Bay. Attractions for the whole family to enjoy in the area include Seaton tramway, the Jurassic Fun Centre, Pecorama, Beer Quarry Caves and Tunnel Tree Tops. Small but perfectly formed, St Anton offers a wonderful holiday base.

The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis has much to offer its visitors, boasting a maze of narrow streets filled with craft and antique shops, galleries and cafes. Take a stroll along the world-famous Cobb causeway overlooking the ancient harbour, where fishing trips can be enjoyed, or try your hand at fossil hunting in the area. The scenic coastal path offers excellent walking opportunities and spectacular views of the stunning Jurassic coast, whilst the gently shelving sands and sparkling waters of Lyme Bay provide the perfect place in which to relax and unwind. A holiday destination to savour!

The chalet is lovely with such lovely views. Chalet is clean and well stocked kitchen everything you need and a lovely welcoming pack that went down well. All bedding and towels were included. Heaters in all rooms if needed but we didn’t need any except the towel rail when we found the switch. Parking outside the chalet not always possible if people next door are there. A lot of the parking spaces have numbers on although we were told that none were allocated. The sink and shower both drains were very slow to empty. The balcony really needs to be painted and around the balcony needs weeding a lot. But all in all just a lovely week and so nice to be able to sit outside and watch the sea. Would definitely recommend this lovely chalet in such a lovely place.

The only downside was when we collected the keys from the key safe the fob to open the entrance gate wasn't there and we had to wait until someone was leaving before we were able to enter the site.

There are a couple of safety issues which might need attention. The outside light is not working and this made the steps a bit tricky at night. The door lock is jamming when trying to get out. The bathroom sink and shower drain very slowly. Everything else lovely so Thanks again .
