Guests are charmed by Old Monmouth's historical character, spaciousness, and prime location in Lyme Regis. The property's unique decor and well-equipped kitchen receive praise, and the en-suite bedrooms add to the comfort of the stay. While some minor issues are noted, such as waste disposal instructions and a smell in one bathroom, the overall experience is highly regarded, with many expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

Reviews consistently mention that the property is very clean, contributing to a comfortable and welcoming stay. There is only one mention of a smell in a bathroom, which seems to be an isolated incident.

The location is universally praised for its convenience, proximity to the beach, high street, and local amenities, making it perfect for guests of all ages and interests.

The property is described as comfortable and roomy, with many guests appreciating the en-suite bedrooms and historical feel. The presence of a smell in one bathroom has been noted, but overall comfort is highly rated.

Facilities are generally well-regarded, especially the well-equipped kitchen and social spaces. However, some guests experienced issues with the music system and suggested better organisation in the kitchen. The mention of a lack of instructions for waste disposal also suggests room for improvement.

While a welcome pack is mentioned, there are no consistent references to gifts or additional thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score this category.
