Short (and briefly steep) walk to the centre of Lyme; great to have the parking permit. Very welcome welcome pack, Thank you! Super to have a choice of reading matter but a few games would have been welcome - the cards and dominoes were both incomplete.. Well equipped kitchen; space is obviously limited but we only missed the convenience of a microwave. We had a lovely break and would happily book again, thank you!

We particularly loved the sitting room and having the sun room right next door was a great bonus. We felt it was someone's home and we had the privilege of being allowed to stay there. I loved the books on the shelves everywhere and was grateful to find some inspiring art books. The good sized garden with two sitting areas was a very pleasant surprise. We had a small issue with the extractor fan not working and the smoke alarm going off. A man came round and fixed it within half an hour! He said he happened to be passing but even so, that was remarkably efficient. I think maybe a little more could have been said about the cottage being on a pretty steep slope. We are in our 70s and were a bit aghast when we arrived! But we treated it as our gym and after 5 days left feeling a whole lot healthier. Altogether it is a lovely property, quite close to all the Lyme Regis action but also quiet and peaceful. Obviously thoughtfully and carefully furnished and looked after by the owner. We loved her taste!

We had a fantastic stay at Lyme Regis cottage and, travelling by public transport, the location was brilliant. Just 3 mins uphill to the Co-op and Tesco in the High Street and a few minutes downhill to the river and Town Mill. Bus stops and the seafront were also close by. The cottage was very cosy, with comfortable bedrooms and a good powerful shower. Thanks for the lovely welcome pack which was much appreciated. For future guests, it would help to have a new tin opener and a 2nd set of keys in the property would make life easier for separate comings and goings to save reliance on the keysafe. A microwave would make self catering much easier, but appreciate it would have to be fitted in somewhere. We would be very happy to return.
