Its a fabulous place to stay. Comfortable space with everything you need. Great location. Minor issues were sorting the heating as it was a cold week and use of the oven could do with instructions. These were eventually remedied so not really a problem. I would thoroughly recommend staying here. It's just great!

Great views of the bay and surrounding area. Within easy reach of local amenities, although the hills were steep! Perfect for our Christmas break. Would definitely recommend and come back if it wasn’t at the top of a hill (I’m asthmatic)

Good to have a parking space with the cottage. Nice outdoor area and secure for a dog (with no Houdini tendencies). Lovely selection of books, maps and games if needed. Laundry room was a bonus as ideal for boots, coats and dog towels. The wood burner made the chilly evenings pleasurable. Outside light (once we had changed the bulb) was useful when returning after dark as no street lighting at the back. Would describe the location as the top of town meaning a hill down and a hill back up. But for us that was not an issue. This also means there is a view from the bedroom window across the valley where it catches the morning sun. Overall a very enjoyable stay at Half Moon Cottage. A property we would use again when we next visit Lyme Regis.
