The local area of Lyme Regis is one filled with amazing activities for you to try out, beginning with the Lyme Regis Museum which is just a short walk from the property itself, where you can learn more about the history, geology and prehistoric world of Dorset and for more recent history you can visit the Town Mill. There is a fantastic array of beaches on offer, beginning after the well-known Cobb Harbour, where you will find Lyme Regis Fossil Beach and Monmouth Beach, both fantastic spots for kayaking, walking and wild swimming as well as searching for fossils nestled within the rocky shores.
