It is a ground-floor apartment with several rooms meaning you can enjoy a delightful break away with friends, or take your family to this historic and rugged part of the UK. Use the porch area to stop to take off your walking boots or store your beach gear and wetsuits in here before heading indoors and exploring your new holiday abode. The first room on the right-hand side is one of the two double bedrooms, a simple and pretty space to wind down in with lovely integrated wooden wardrobes to house all of your personal belongings. Following this is a spacious study and sitting area complete with a desk for you to set up your laptop if some of the office has to come with you on your trip, with a bookshelf offering a selection of books you can get stuck into for a holiday read. Beyond this lies the delightful kitchen, decorated in neutral colours of cream and beige to create a tranquil space to prepare your favourite meals, housing a good range of appliances including a dishwasher and a washing machine. Next door to this room is the neat shower room holding a shower, basin and WC, with adjacent clothes drying area. Then onto the huge open-plan living space holding the dining area and the sitting area, with large windows allowing the light to flood in, making it a wonderful social space to relax in, with plush sofas and chairs providing lovely seating to sink into after an activity-filled day. The second bedroom hosts a double bed and benefits from an en-suite shower room as well. Venture out to Lyme Regis Beach or Monmouth Beach, which are within walking distance being just under 1.5 miles away, and can be accessed by the beautiful River Lim walk starting from just opposite the property. Spend the day on the beautiful shores of the Jurassic Coast before choosing one of the many restaurants or gastro-pubs overlooking the sea to dine at in the evening. Spend an afternoon marvelling at the paleontologist’s collection of more than 9,000 specimens of fossils and things found on excavations at the Dinosaurland Fossil Museum. For real history buffs who can't get enough, then visit the Lyme Regis Museum for more local history in a purpose-built Victorian building. Walk along the East Devon Way for a great way to see the landscapes and terrain of this Are of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Nearby towns of Axminster and Seaton are worth a visit and are within easy driving distance or take the bus through to Bridport and experience the outdoor market. Bensons Old Stores will be a great base from which to explore the Jurassic Coast.

Uplyme is a village in the region of east Devon on the Devon-Dorset border, and is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village itself is host to a number of amenities such as a pub, a shop and a village hall, with the surrounding area being glorious countryside. Just a few miles down the road is Lyme Regis, 'the Pearl of Dorset', where Monmouth Beach can be enjoyed on a sunny day, or head to Dinosaurland Fossil Museum or the Lyme Regis Museum on a rainy day, before getting back out again and exploring the incredible Jurassic Coast.
