It’s tucked away on the end in the corner so pretty much total privacy. Tbh, I’m a bit of a clean freak and had bought my own cleaning things with me to give the place a once over but as soon as I walked in I could smell the place was clean and kept clean, as a wood cabin would soon start to smell iffy if it wasn’t cleaned properly and regularly. I had also brought some spare bedding….just incase my ‘clean issues’ had a problem with what was there but again, bedding and towels were lovely and clean and smelt fresh too and beds were comfy. The kitchen was well supplied for cooking and was clean. The living room area was comfy enough on the evening and tv worked just fine. The building work was no problem as we were out doing holiday stuff during the day. The pool was great as we pretty much had it to ourselves first thing each morning. Laundry room came in handy, that was lovely and clean too. Met a few others residents and they were all lovely and really friendly Overall we were really happy with our stay and will probably return next time we come to Devon. Thank you

That unfortunately was where the perfect start ended . We drove round looking for our plot of perfection repeatedly passing a dilapidated old wooden loads in the corner of the park assuming it was a potting shed for the gardener or of sort . Nope it was pinewood ten. We was greeted with a seen from Im a celeb get me out of here style bush tucker trial . A mass of cob webs all over the front of the shed . Most very dusty and old so no magicaly appeared over night . Some where trapped in between the glass panes so all you could see was a Halloween hue of the immaculate site. We opened the door to 70’s themed Interior and small that can only be described as one of a nursing home for the elderly . The sofa had no cushion material left so you could feel the Lats in your backside . The lights didn’t work in the kids room to add to the Im a celeb theme. And it was just dingy and awful. Not a problem the weather was great we’ll eat outside ….. errrm no the out side table only had a 3 chairs for a 4 birth “property “ I can stress how much we would return to the site but sadly Pinewood 10 is only fit for the log pile . We was given a discount when booking this due to potential building work being carried out. The builders hare made any disturbance and again was immaculately tidy . I hate to think what the retail price was supposed to be. In short the British government wouldn’t house refugees in this “ property “ let alone charge for the privilege

Also, a cleaner with better vision might be worth a try ie someone that can see cobwebs, they are all over; curtains, skirting boards, window frames. It looked like it hadn’t been cared for for a good few weeks.
