The cottage is situated in the peaceful Dorset village of West Knighton and is the ideal base for families looking to enjoy a special break in this beautiful part of Dorset.

Yoah Cottage has been tastefully and lovingly refurbished to provide an attractive and comfortable holiday home for up to nine guests. Brimming with character features including exposed beams and brickwork, the accommodation allows for flexibility with five bedrooms in total, includiing a single on the ground floor. Two of king-size bedrooms have their own en-suite shower rooms, and there is a large family bathroom with walk-in shower enclosure on the ground floor plus an additional cloakroom. The day space at the cottage includes a modern country kitchen with small breakfast area, a separate large dining room with an ornamental inglenook fireplace, a cosy sitting room with door to the garden, and a conservatory with further seating. There is also a useful utility and laundry area, hallway and boot area.

Outside Yoah Cottage has a large garden, mostly laid to lawn with patio areas and garden furniture, and stunning countryside views across the surrounding fields. The family own the dining pub next door, The New Inn, and offer guests an opportunity to pre-order meals for a lazy night in. The pretty village of West Knighton is well located for easy access to the county town of Dorchester with its museums, cinemas, shops and cafes which are just a three mile drive away. Also within easy reach are the beaches of Ringstead and Weymouth, and much of the outstanding Jurassic Coast including iconic Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door which are just a pleasant twenty minute drive away.

With so many attractions close by, and opportunities for exploring and adventures, Yoah Cottage is perfect for all of the family to gather together for a memorable holiday.

There ia a high chair and travel cot provided at the property (own bedding needed).

Two well behaved dogs welcome (additional charges apply).

The cottage is next door to The New Inn, a dining pub which is also owned by the family, and a takeout meal order service is available to guests.

As this is a traditional thatched cottage the ceiling height is restricted throughout.
