Spent a week with the family and had a great time , Phil was always on hand for any niggles. The house is large and airy. The football pitch was a hit with the children . Only one problem the single bed matrees could do with an upgrade as it was rather lumpy.The kitchen was well equipped and washing machine and tumble dryer were added bonuses Would definitely reccomend this holiday house

Lovely property and location. Worked brilliantly for a multi generation family get together with ages ranges from 2 to 74. Lots of space and wonderful views. We had a great time.No holiday let is perfect as the property is in continuous use and some are more careful than others . However a little more attention could be paid to simple details - the doors and windows were often stiff and needed lubrication; the ovens were a challenge to use as most of the temperature markings had been rubbed off in cleaning. Small points but a little more attention to simple maintenance would make this very good property great

Wylye Croft is a lovely property, for a large group of family/friends. When you look at it in the website, it doesn’t really show how big the property is. I don’t think the details on the website explain some of the benefits of the place. Initially we were worried about there being enough fridge capacity, but there are two fridges in the kitchen and a fridge/freezer in the utility. Also, whilst the 5 a-side pitch is shown in the pictures, it doesn’t actually say that this is for the use of guests - but it is and if you have kids who love football it’s a great space. The added benefit is that there are lots of places around the garden that you can sit in the sun or the shade and overall the garden area is big.A couple of things that I would look to improve would be some maintenance on the doors (particularly the ones onto the deck) as they are hard to close (however this could have been down to the extreme heat that we had when we were there) and secondly the decking areas needs a little attention as some of the decks flex when you walk on them. But don’t let the above put you off, this is a lovely place to stay and it’s very peaceful.
