We had a lovely holiday at The Stables. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped, and the host was friendly and helpful. Highlights locally were the very nearby nature reserve (great walking), and the Tank Museum (surprisingly engrossing), and of course Lulworth Cove. Studland Beach and more distant Lyme Regis are also great, we recommend Monmouth Beach at the latter to see fossils. And Weymouth is worth a visit, lovely sandy beach. A criticism is that the Booking.com listing says that the cottage is within 3 miles, and also within 1 mile of the coast. It isn't. Nearby Lulworth is just over 5 miles away. Very misleading.

Great base for visiting all of Dorset. Cosy cottage with all things to hand (small freezer compartment understandable!) and Paul was a welcoming and attentive host. Recommended
