Stepping inside the property, be welcomed into the comfortable sitting room where the woodburning stove adds a touch of charm and warmth on those chillier evenings, providing the perfect spot to spend time with your loved ones, whether it be planning your holiday itinerary or watching a family favourite film. Move your conversations into the country style kitchen, where the designated chef of the group can rustle up delicious home cooked meals while the others set the dining table and pop open a bottle of wine, before retiring to the cosy snug and enjoying a quiet night in, making a start in that book you have been saving. A downstairs shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC completes the ground floor. Moving upstairs, choose from one of the three elegant bedrooms; one double benefiting from an en-suite shower room with walk in shower, basin and WC, and a further double room and a twin room, both served by a chic bathroom complete with a bath for those who like to indulge in a long soak after a busy day exploring the local area, along with an overhead shower, basin and WC. In the warmer months, why not enjoy a spot of alfresco dining in the enclosed garden, where your four legged companion can run off some energy whilst you sit and relax, reflecting on the holiday so far. Venture out for the day and take a stroll along the River Frome before heading into the centre of the village of Maiden Newton to discover a scatter of shops and eateries which is sure to make for a delightful afternoon outing. ! The property was spotless, and had everything we needed. Our only complaint would be that there was no visitors book, it would be nice to be able to recommend places locally and see other guests recommendations

Thank you. The property has great facilities, everything lovely & clean. Beautiful fireplace, with a good supply of logs for our stay. Everything you need for your fur baby too…including an enclosed safe outside area. There was even an umbrella & torch for those early morning/late night doggie outings! The owners were so lovely & welcoming, we will definitely be going back…can’t recommend highly enough…friendly pub next door was a bonus…everywhere was dog friendly & close to all our favourite places, including West bay, Thank you for making our New year so memorable.

Everything we needed was there. They had decorated the house with fine Christmas decorations and a lovely tree. They even provided newly bought roasting trays in case we needed them for Christmas dinner. We have no hesitation in recommending this property. We would certainly go again.
