Guests say

Churchview House is a charming and spacious cottage, ideal for large family gatherings or group stays. Guests consistently praise its well-equipped kitchen, comfortable bedrooms, and welcoming hosts. The property’s character and unique features are appreciated, and the multiple communal areas ensure everyone has space. While the location offers great access to local attractions, some mention traffic noise and limited parking. Occasional maintenance issues are noted, but overall, guests enjoy a warm, memorable stay.

The majority of reviews describe the house as clean and well-presented, with only minor comments about dated decor rather than cleanliness itself.

The property is praised for its accessibility to local attractions and amenities. However, its position on the busy A35 brings some traffic noise and parking challenges, especially for larger vehicles.

Guests find the house warm and comfortable, with plenty of space and mostly comfortable beds. Some mention traffic noise in front bedrooms and minor issues with water pressure, but these do not detract significantly from overall comfort.

The house is highly rated for its extensive facilities, including a well-equipped kitchen, multiple lounges, en-suite bathrooms, and thoughtful touches for families. Some maintenance issues with showers and parking are noted but do not overshadow the positive feedback.

Many guests mention a warm welcome from the hosts, including a welcome pack and homemade chocolate cake. While these gestures are much appreciated, please note that such gifts are not guaranteed for every stay.

Lovely weekend away, a family of 11 including two toddlers. Big enough to accommodate for lounging about and at the table, two sinks in kitchen was a great help. Each bedroom has its own en suite or bathroom which is perfect. Stairgates for toddlers which was needed on doors as their are two sets of stairs and one very steep. On main road but no issue for us. Hosts were very reachable and pro active
