We were there during a particularly wet spell but still managed to get out and see Dorset. The cottage is ideally placed with Corfe Castle Lyme Regis, Swanage etc all within easy reach. It took time to get warm but once the wood burner is blazing it keeps the whole place nice and comfortable. Would recommend for a short break.

Kitchen was quite dirty on arrival with sticky work surfaces. The bathrooms are also very dirty with mould in the shower and bath towels provided are very small. The fire was laid on arrival, one log and medium sized log and very small log in the log basket. I would have expected a few more logs to start. Parking is OK, we found it best to reverse in as cars do travel quite fast down the road. Some road noise in the morning was noticeable.

Owner lives next door and was happy to offer advice/help but left you to yourself if preferred. Could not fault anything.
