Snaptrip says

Pippins is a charming and quaint cottage in Dorset, appreciated for its cleanliness, comfortable beds, and beautiful garden. Guests enjoyed the peaceful location, ideal for exploring the area. Some mentioned thoughtful touches like welcome gifts. While there were minor concerns about maintenance and the lack of Wi-Fi, the overall experience was positive, with many guests expressing a desire to return.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The cottage received high praise for its cleanliness, with several guests highlighting its tidy and well-kept condition. Comments about beautifully clean rooms and a clean, cosy atmosphere contributed to a high score in this category.

The location was generally well-regarded, with guests appreciating the quiet setting and proximity to local attractions. However, some noted the presence of traffic noise and a lack of nearby walks, slightly lowering the score.

Comfort was frequently mentioned, with guests finding the beds comfortable and the cottage cosy. Some guests found the sofa difficult to get up from and the stairs awkward, which slightly affected the score.

Facilities were deemed very good for a small cottage, with great Wi-Fi and a well-equipped kitchen. However, some guests noted the absence of Wi-Fi, a dishwasher, and issues with heating and plumbing, indicating room for improvement.

While guests mentioned welcome gifts such as biscuits and juice, there is not enough information to determine if such thoughtfulness is consistent across all stays. Therefore, the score is set to null, and it should be noted that such gestures are not guaranteed.

We find it very clean and comfortable. It’s a really good location for exploring. Although there is a train at the back of property, there is no noise from it. We would like to stay again!

Although it's close to the railway and main road, we heard nothing from the former and only distant traffic from the latter. Being close to Dorchester, the location works well for most of Dorset. There's an interesting Emporium only a mile or two south on the A37 for those who like browsing vintage and antique items. Thanks to our hosts for the Sicilian lemonade and Moores Dorset Ginger Biscuits.
