Snaptrip says

Pippins Cottage in Dorset is a quaint and cosy property with a beautiful garden, often praised for its cleanliness and charm. Guests appreciate the peaceful surroundings and find it a comfortable base for exploring the local area. While some guests mention the lack of Wi-Fi and other amenities, the overall experience is positive, with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found Pippins Cottage to be very clean, with several positive comments about its tidiness. The high level of cleanliness contributed to the comfort and enjoyment of their stay.

The cottage's location is generally appreciated for its quietness and proximity to local attractions. However, some guests noted the lack of nearby walks and the distance from the coast, slightly affecting the score.

Guests often describe the beds as comfortable and the cottage as homely. Some concerns were raised about the suitability for guests with mobility issues and the comfort of the sofa, which impacts the score.

Reviews are mixed regarding facilities; some guests are happy with the amenities provided, while others suggest improvements such as better Wi-Fi, updated kitchenware, and maintenance issues. The presence of a garden is frequently appreciated.

While some guests mention a welcome pack and gifts, there are not enough references to consistently evaluate the thoughtfulness of the host. Therefore, it is important to note that such gestures, while appreciated, are not guaranteed.

Parking a larger car was a challenge but mastered in the end. Back garden was secure for our inquisitive dog, she enjoyed running up and down. Despite the inclement weather a good time was had there.

My husband has Parkinson's so the narrowness of the driveway with the steep steps is one issue, also the steep internal staircase and difficult access to the shower as the toilet is in front of the shower with about a six or seven inch gap to step through, saying that there's no problems for able body people. It is a dog friendly cottage but with no safe walks nearby as the part busy road outside has no pavements. We also found it a problem to find a local grocery store so after talking to very friendly neighbours they told us the nearest village store for most items was in the village of Cerne Abbas 7 miles away, which is a beautiful village to visit with the main attraction The Cerne Giant. Instructions to strip the beds, sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers, towels and place in a bag provided before departure seemed a bit excessive for the end of a holiday as I've stayed in cottages before and never had to do this. Won't be returning in the future.
