On entering the apartment, a delightful open-plan living space greets the visitor with a sumptuous sofa forming the focal point of the room; this is somewhere you can easily imagine curling up with your loved one and enjoying spending quality time together. There is a TV and beautiful windows directly overlooking the streets where you can watch life go by from the comfort of sofa. Step into the compact but well-equipped kitchen which is ready to go for you to whip up a romantic dinner for your other half and take a seat at the rustic dining table where you can enjoy an intimate, candlelit meal. When sleep calls then take yourself off to the gorgeously inviting double bedroom which is tastefully decorated with a nautical theme to remind you of your position near the beautiful beaches of Charmouth. The well-proportioned bathroom includes an inviting bath where you can imagine taking a luxurious bubble bath and wallowing with a glass of your favourite tipple in hand; this is what relaxing holidays are all about. The apartment is great if youâve got a dog as it has tiled floors and therefore easy to clean, although no outdoor space this didnât bother us as I wandered down to the beach for an early morning stroll. It is close to The Royal Oak, a very nice pub for lovely meals and within easy walking distance. All in all an ideal bolt hole for exploring this lovely area.
