The zip link bed that was supposed to be linked wasn't, it was a twin and downstaires shower head needs fixing properly. Other than that it was all fine. I've stayed in this house several times and probably will again. There was an issue with broken TV aerial, which once reported was fixed the same day. Prompt, friendly repair work. My gripe is with Sykes web page. They make it deliberately difficult to get that initial contact. When this was Lyme Bay company it was much easier and more personal service. Overall this is not a bad house to stay in, location is great there are just a few niggles creeping in since Sykes took over.

Entrance porch would be better off with a mat filling the whole space especially due to the wet conditions.

Like others have stated a little tired, not obvious at first. Outside light, where steps to patio are, not working can't use garden in evening in September. Wife used washing machine once and there is a slight leak from somewhere? Good job tiled floor underneath! TV was the most limited I,ve ever come across plus other places we have been with gaming consoles have separate TV. Garden furniture needs a tad of upkeep. Downstairs shower head holder has worn out, slides down and won't hold it up. Kitchen door when opened is fine from inside, but if closed can not come in from outside. Patio door stiff, a bit difficult for my petite wife to open. Would I stay again, hell yeah just like home only I don't pay over a grand a week for the privilege.
