Phoenix Cottage is a lovely property located in the heart of Cerne Abbas, close to Dorchester - the county town - and nestled in the Dorset Countryside. A fabulous spot if you love walking, exploring and are looking for a relaxing break.
Cerne Abbas is a pretty village with the benefit of 3 village pubs, shop and a tea room. Within a short walk you can explore the remains of the Benedictine Abbey, visit the Cerne Abbas Giant and pop to the local brewery. Not far by car and you can find yourselves at the beach at Weymouth – either walking the golden sands or taking to the waves on a paddbleboard or take a windsurfing lesson! Or take a trip further afield to explore the Jurassic Coast.
The cottage is a very sociable property with plenty of space to relax inside or outside in the lovely garden with patio and steps up to a lovely lawned area. After a long day exploring kick back and enjoy, take advantage of either of the comfortable sitting rooms, one on the ground floor and the main one on the first floor. Also on the first floor you will find the three spacious bedrooms and the family bathroom. There is a great open plan kitchen/dining space to discuss the events of the day over dinner. The property also benefits from a ground floor shower room and utility area.

We have all had a fantastic stay at Phoenix Cottage. Such a perfect location for exploring beautiful Dorset. We have never stayed in such a well-equipped cottage. Everything was perfect! Lots of lovely memories!
