Situated in an elevated position and nestled in the Dorset Hills just outside Cattistock, Holway Cottage is a charming former farm cottage, beautifully refurbished by the owners. The entire property has been elegantly decorated, retaining many of its original features to create a stylish holiday home perfect for a small family or for couples wishing to explore the stunning Dorset countryside.
The accommodation includes a sitting room with a cosy wood burning stove, a Smart television with smooth connectivity for Freeview and Netfix, and a beautiful open-plan kitchen and dining room. The kitchen is well-equipped and features a large sociable central island incorporating the induction hob and a wine cooler. The dining area is elegantly furnished with a large dining table and seating for six guests, with french doors opening out onto a decked terrace and lawned garden.
When it’s time for bed, there are two large bedrooms upstairs on the first floor. Bedroom one features a super-king size bed that can be configured to twin single beds upon request. The room has beautiful countryside views and a very generous en-suite bathroom with a luxurious roll- top bath and twin wash basins. The second bedroom has a double bed, with the family shower room directly opposite, featuring a large walk-in shower and twin wash basins.
Outside, guests can enjoy relaxing on the raised decked terrace, whilst admiring the stunning surrounding landscape.

Very comfortable cottage in a lovely location. Only downside was the shower. The taps were very stiff to use, especially with wet hands and the water does not need to be on such a high temperature ( hot enough to scald).

Holway Cottage was everything we could have wished for, from an idyllic setting nestled in the beautiful Dorset countryside to the welcoming and stylish interior of the cottage itself. The generous welcome basket of eggs, butter, milk, biscuits, wine and more was a delightful surprise. The cottage was spotless and extremely well- equipped. We had a wonderful time exploring Hardy country and the Jurassic Coast which were conveniently accessible. Thank you to the amazing hosts who ensured we had a truly memorable stay and have set a high bar for our next cottage holiday!
