This ground floor apartment incorporates lovely features including a walk-in shower, high quality Sea Salt bedding, and a garden. The fully fitted kitchen is well-equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, electric oven and ceramic hob, a fridge and a freezer. Featuring coastal influences throughout to reflect the wonderful location of the apartment, the rooms are tastefully decorated in cornflour white to combine a feeling of calm and freshness. Original paintings from local artists showcase the stunning area.
After a day exploring the glorious World Heritage Jurassic Coast or strolling through the wonderful countryside, chat and relax in the sitting room on a comfortable sofa with warm light provided by lamps. From here you can look out through the French doors leading to the patio and enjoy the view of the hill behind the property. The area is rich in history and culture as exemplified by the local festivals, Iron Age hill fort, Bronze Age barrows, and the only thatched brewery which is nearby for you to visit and tour. There is also a thriving local food and drinks scene. For thrill-seekers jump aboard the Rib Charter boats or swing through the treetops at the Tunnel, Charmouth. There’s so much to explore from the local harbours and nearby Chesil Beach to the famous Cobb at Lyme Regis, and the renowned Abbotsbury Swannery and Sub-Tropical Gardens.

Overalll we had a lovely holiday in the apartment which was generally comfortable. However would suggest a blackout blind for the bedroom as it is very light from 6.30am which is very early to get up on holiday. Would also suggest a rug for lounge and bedroom as the tiles are very cold. The shower mat could also do with replacing.

Sweet Briar is an ideal location for easy access to all the places we wanted to visit, it had everything we needed, well equipped kitchen, modern walk in shower, comfortable beds, lounge with patio doors overlooking gardens and countryside and chickens running around. We loved our stay and will definitely return as there is do much more to see and discover. Just a short walk up the road is an ancient church well worth a visit, West Bay and Bridport are all in walking distance and Beaminster is a short drive away. We highly recommend Sweet Briar.
