Head to the village centre, which includes a bike hire shop, galleries, artisan makers, a popular pub and tea rooms or visit the market town of Bridport (1.5 miles), where you will find a good range of shops, selling everything from essential supplies to vintage treasures. The village is surrounded by rolling countryside, including Colmer s Hill (0.5 miles), which offers fabulous views. Spend an afternoon at West Bay (3 miles), where there is a pretty harbour and beach. Alternatively, explore the many other attractions lining the Jurassic Coast, including Eype, the pretty cobbled streets of Lyme Regis and Abbotsbury with its sub tropical gardens and swannery, which are all within 10 miles. Positioned within a tranquil paddock alongside three other bell tents, this romantic retreat is the ideal place to truly relax and unwind. Access to the tent is on foot, and as you approach you ll see the luxurious king size bed and the bathrobes. There are also plenty of thoughtful touches to make this a rustic home from home. There is a kettle and mini fridge for any essential supplies you bring along as well as comfortable chairs for catching up on your reading. Your own private shower with WC can be found in an on site shepherd s hut and there are shared washing up facilities here too. When the weather is fine, lift your chairs out to the front of the tent, where there is a clearing for you to sit and enjoy stargazing. When your belly begins to rumble, cook a light meal on the fire pit. Parking is available in a shared car park approx. 100m from the property and drop off is possible along an access path alongside the tents.
