Snaptrip says

The Sty in Bridport offers a cosy and comfortable stay with welcoming hosts. Guests appreciate the cleanliness, the thoughtful welcome packs, and the cottage's proximity to beautiful locations. While some mention road noise and suggest improvements for the mattress, the overall experience is positive with many looking forward to returning.

Guests that stayed at this property said

The majority of guests found the cottage to be spotless and very clean, indicating high standards of cleanliness maintained by the hosts.

The location is praised for its easy access to the seaside and local attractions. However, several reviews mention the proximity to the busy A35 road as a downside, affecting the score.

Guests describe the cottage as cosy and comfortable, with a few noting the mattress could be improved. The positive remarks on the cottage's cosiness and the welcome packs contribute to a good comfort score.

The facilities are generally appreciated, especially the welcome packs and the well-equipped kitchen. Some guests, however, feel that certain aspects, like windows and heating, require maintenance.

The hosts are frequently commended for their thoughtfulness, particularly regarding the welcome packs. It should be noted that while these gifts are highly appreciated, they are a kind gesture and not guaranteed with every stay.

Bridport, a charming market town built on the River Brit, with a long history of rope and net production. The flax threads were formerly twisted into rope along the long, broad avenues and passageways between the buildings, which are now lined with an interesting array of stores, restaurants, and inns. The spectacular Jurassic coast at West Bay, now a World Heritage Site is 2 miles south of Bridport, while Lyme Regis is only 10 miles away. This is an excellent location from which to explore West Dorset.
