Follow the South West Coast Path from Charmouth, heading east towards the seaside resort of West Bay (9 miles) and the market town of Bridport, or west towards the fossil-rich beach and pretty harbour at Lyme Regis (2 miles). Sidmouth (20 miles), Seaton (11.5 miles) and the old fishing village of Beer (13 miles) are a short drive away, while heading inland the Blackdown Hills (12 miles) offer spectacular walks with breathtaking elevated views.
