The traditional Dorset seaside village of Charmouth is set on the beautiful Jurassic Coast and offers a variety of shops and pubs, all just a short stroll from the door. Spanning 95 miles of the coastline of Dorset and Devon, the Jurassic Coast has been designated England's first Natural World Heritage Site and offers some of the very finest walks and views in the country. The delightful seaside town of Lyme Regis is just a short drive away and offers an unspoilt seafront with sheltered south facing beaches providing a perfect environment for children to play and for adults to relax. There are many charming resorts in the area, including Beer and Branscombe, as well as numerous National Trust properties and gardens which are well worth exploring. Situated in a pleasant gated complex, this property makes a cosy holiday home and great base. On entering you will find yourself in the attractive and welcoming lounge/diner, which has a TV/DVD and is a cosy space to relax in. There is ample room around the dining table to enjoy meals with family and friends, and French doors open out to the patio. Going through to the kitchen, you will find all the equipment you may need including an integrated oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher. The washer/dryer can be found in the utility room and there is also a ground floor wet room with WC. Heading upstairs, you will find three comfortable bedrooms. There is a king size room with a TV and en suite bathroom with shower over the bath and WC, and two twin rooms. Please note that some rooms have low sloping ceilings. There is also an additional first floor bathroom with a shower over the bath and WC. Heading outside, guests can relax in the privacy of the furnished patio area, ideal for enjoying meals and drinks outdoors. Guests are invited to enjoy the neighbouring holiday park which includes a shared, covered outdoor heated swimming pool (available during specific dates only and not available all year, please refer to the 'need to know' section for details), Char Valley coffee shop which serves teas, coffees, milk shakes, ice creams and biscuits, and a shared outdoor children's play area. For a reduced charge and available to adults, is the well equipped Char Valley Health Club, including a gym, indoor pool, sauna and steam room. Need to know: 3 bedrooms 1 king size with en suite and 2 twins. 1 en suite bathroom with shower over bath and WC; 1 bathroom with shower over bath and WC on the first floor; 1 en suite wet room with WC on the ground floor. Kitchen electric oven, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge, freezer. Utility room with washer/dryer. TV and DVD in the lounge, TV in the king size bedroom. Club Wi Fi available for an additional. charge payable onsite, charges are for up to 5 devices charge for 24 hours is 5.00, for 48 hours is 10, for 1 week is 20.00, for 1 month is 30 (please note Wi Fi speeds may vary, therefore this connection may be unsuitable for streaming movies and games etc). Swimming pool use of the covered outdoor heated swimming pool is included for guests and is open for the following dates in 2024: 30th March 6th April, 4th 6th May, 25th May 30th August, 26th October 1st November, 2025: 12th 21st April, 3rd 5th May, 24th May 31st August, 25th 31st October. The pool is open 7 days a week in the main school summer holidays between 10am 5pm and closed for lunch. Details of the pool opening times outside of the summer school holiday period are available on request, please call for more information.. Please bring your own towels for the beach. Health Club (available to over 18 s at an additional charge) and coffee shop opening times are: 9am 5pm Monday Friday (closed for lunch), 9am 1pm Sat and Sun.. Short breaks only available during off peak weeks. Complex of 16 properties. Ample parking on site. Beach, shops and pubs all within walking distance. Guests can arrive between 4pm 8pm. EV cars cannot be charged from the property under any circumstances, the nearest EV charging point can be found in nearby Lyme Regis, West Bay and Bridport. Please note mattress for the cot is not provided. Please note stairgates are not provided.
