This attractive, spacious cottage is well furnished and equipped to allow family groups of up to seven people relax and enjoy each other s company. The village of Shipton Gorge occupies a wonderfully central location along the World Heritage Coast, allowing guests to explore the many delights that Dorset aonb has to offer. 13 miles west is the popular seaside town of Lyme Regis and 21 miles east is the seaside resort of Weymouth both perfect for building sandcastles and eating fish n chips followed by an ice cream. The village itself is only 2.5 miles from the beach, which stretches all the way from West Bay to Portland Bill. There are also plenty of family attractions in the surrounding area. As you enter the cottage, you ll find yourself in a hallway suitable for kicking off sandy shoes or muddy boots before stepping into the spacious lounge. In here, the focal point is the large inglenook fireplace which houses a wood burner just perfect for snuggling up in front of on a cold evening but equally as striking is the contrast between the light walls and the original, dark, oak beams, which is present throughout the ground floor. Across the hallway is a light and airy dining room, with pine furniture adding to the country cottage style. To the rear of the property is a light, contemporary, well equipped kitchen, which provides access to the garden. Going upstairs, you will discover that the first floor of this property is somewhat of a Tardis, with the rooms all leading off from a light and airy landing. There are four bedrooms, the first has a super king size bed and an en suite shower room, there is a king size bedroom with an en suite shower room, a twin room and also a cosy single bedroom.
