With its very own wood-fired hot tub, The Acorn is an idyllic glamping hideaway for two, nestled in the Dorset countryside with views over the rolling hills and out to sea.

Handmade and bespoke in design, this beautiful oak shepherds hut is the perfect place to unwind and relax. Step inside to the large open-plan living space. Here you will find a cosy bedroom area at one end with a double bed, and a fully equipped kitchenette with a dining area at the other. With a double electric hob and oven/microwave, this little space has everything you need to cook up a storm after a days exploring. Through a door is an en-suite with a WC, wash basin and shower. Outside is a wonderful lawned area with a wood-fired hot tub. Sit back and relax by the firepit with a glass of wine and take in the vast landscape, or watch as the stars come out in the evening.

With views to the sea and plenty of local walks, the location is hard to beat. The Jurassic Coast is on your doorstep so it is easy to spend time exploring the coastal path and visiting the pretty towns and villages with their boutique shops and coastal restaurants and pubs.

Additional Information:

One well behaved dog welcome or two small dogs at owners discretion (small additional charge).

Please keep dogs off of the furniture and on leads when outside due to livestock being on the farm.

You will have use of your own private wood-fired hot tub with logs provided. Please read full instructions on the operation and safety of the hot tub which can be found in the house folder.

cctv cameras are located to the entrances and around the main farm buildings for security.

Sorry, no babies or children, this is a couples retreat.

Steps lead up to the entrance with double doors

Inside the hut:

Open-plan layout with a television and wifi. Underfloor heating.

Kitchen

Fully equipped kitchenette with two-ring hob, oven/microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge.

Pull out dining table and two wing back chairs provided.

Bedroom area

Comfortable double bed with storage underneath. Bedding provided.

Shower room

With electric shower, wash basin, and WC. Towels provided.

Outside:

The Acorn has its own wood-fired hot tub - please see additional Information and refer to the house notes in the property folder before using. Logs provided.

Wooden table and chairs, and a firepit with delightful views of the countryside and sea in the distance.
