The charming rural community of Beaminster is in an area of outstanding natural beauty, tucked beneath the gently undulating downland of West Dorset. The Conservation Area, which is located around the square, is home to approximately 200 Grade II listed buildings, many of which are made of mellow hamstone. In addition to having a good assortment of stores, hotels, and restaurants, this vibrant rural community also organises a well-known music and arts festival every summer. There is a vast network of pathways in the area, and one of them leads to the village of Netherbury, which was the setting for the first River Cottage TV show. Lyme Regis, Dorchester, and Weymouth are all within an easy drive, as well as the bustling market town of Bridport and West Bay, which served as the setting for the television series Broadchurch, on Dorset's breathtaking Jurassic Coast. A quaint Dorset small village located in a gorgeous rural area.

It is a lovely comfortable well equipped place to stay. The area is very pretty and we enjoyed lovely walks on the beaches. We will certainly look at returning. Thank you Sion and Tracey Taylor

The accommodation was very clean and of a very high standard. It would have been nice if the owners came to check if everything was okay with our stay - would have been nice if they had shown more of an interest. Also the accommodation - I was expecting us to be able to go for long walks across fields, etc but very restricted to where you can go - not ideal when you have dogs.

We were able to visit Lyme Regis, Seatown and Charnmouth Beach easily from here, only 25 minutes away. Would highly recommend!
