The accommodation is ideal for families or guests looking for a multi-generation break in a peaceful rural setting. The property offers five bedrooms (one on the ground floor with en-suite shower room) and three further bathrooms. The farmhouse also boasts fantastic reception spaces, with a large living/dining room, further large living room and a farmhouse kitchen/breakfast room. Outside the property offers a large, enclosed garden, patio seating area and private hot tub!
Beaminster village centre is a pleasant stroll from the property where you will find local shops, pharmacy, pubs and restaurants. Beaminster is known for its award-winning historic gardens and being home to some wonderfully talented artists. It was the location for the 2015 Thomas Hardy adaptation of ’Far From The Madding Crowd’, and Mapperton House and Gardens is well worth a visit. This Jacobean manor overlooks acres of award-winning gardens and enjoys outstanding views of rolling hills and woodland that surround its magnificent location. The delightful Beaminster Museum boasts a number of intriguing collections highlighting the town’s rich historical heritage and is well worth a visit. The museum provides a fascinating insight of how the folk of the town lived and worked with content on display that will entertain young and old. For the walkers among us Beaminster’s location is the perfect place to explore four of Dorset Highest Peaks where the views are break taking do not forget the camera on this day out.
Further afield the historic town of Dorchester is 15 miles away where you can spend a day explore the history of the town with museums, local bars and restaurants. If you are wanting to spend a day on the beach, the nearest beach is West Bay, Bridport which Is about 7 miles from the property. The award-winning sandy beach of Weymouth is approx. 45-minute drive away, here you can enjoy a relaxing time on the beach or stroll around its historic harbour. As 10 adults & a baby, LBF was perfect for our weeks stay. The house is spacious, furnished beautifully and well equipped. It was lovely to meet John who flew down with a thermometer for the baby when its parents were panicking. We made some lovely memories during out stay, enjoyed the hot tub and big table for our evenings in and the lounge was perfect for the crawling toddler and games night... I highly recommend booking in beautiful Dorset.

Overall very nice property to stay in for a family getaway plenty of space for all and clean and tidy rooms. Garden very good for children to play in. Only one issue that could be sorted is the out of date products left in cupboard by previous guests taking up space in food cupboard.
